Singles Thriving Spiritually & Socially
A Single Purpose Ministry is for singles desiring to honor God by taking the truth about who we are in Christ and making a practice of it in our daily lives. We believe this can only be done with a community of Christ-followers. Meetings are held monthly. 

Audio, Visual & Media Ministry 
This ministry meets the audio and video needs for all worship services as well as our radio and television broadcasts. If you are interested in joining the team or becoming a video announcement correspondent, please call at 212-860-6768. 

Bethel Intercessory Prayer Task Force 
The goal of this ministry to increase the prayer covering over our ministers, members and overall ministry of the church through coordinated prayer efforts. Additionally this group seeks to encourage the members of the Body of Christ at Bethel to develop a disciplined prayer life and join in organized efforts to intercede for the church as a whole. Becoming God’s Answer Bookstore (BGAB) 
This state of the art bookstore is open Tuesday – Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Saturdays 10:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m., Sundays following both morning worship services, and is closed on Mondays. BGAB offers a wide selection of bibles, music, books and other resources that will enrich and power your Christian walk. Christian Education Ministry 
This ministry offers Christian Education classes including Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and small group Bible study programs that run on a weekly basis. In addition, this ministry gives oversight to the Bethel Bible and Missions Training Center which is in joint relations with Oral Roberts University School of Life Long Learning. Computer Technology Center 
This ministry offers training in the area of computer technology to the church and the local community. Please call 646-215-6109 for further information. 

Department of Youth Services 
The Department of Youth Services (DYS), is a multi-faceted, preventive program geared towards equipping youth and young adults with tools for success in the areas of spiritual growth, sexual purity, purpose, interpersonal relationships, artistic gifts, social and cognitive maturity, physical fitness, discipline, leadership and community service. 

The Department of Youth Services is comprised of:

  1. The I.M.A.G.I.N.E. Center which provides a comprehensive array of services that include; youth fellowship services, art based components, and age-appropriate programs.

  2. NET.COM Partners outreach, efforts to capture young people in the community.

  3. Lions’ Whelp Youth Kub Klub summer programs.

Evangelism and Outreach Ministry 
All are invited to join the evangelists as they give leadership to “Saturday Invasion” where we take the Gospel to the streets of Harlem as we witness, share our testimonies and worship the Lord; leading people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Ezra N. Williams Research Library 
The mission of the Library is to provide service and information to the entire congregation of Bethel Gospel Assembly. Subjects include Religion, Philosophy, African-American Studies, Psychology, Science & Health, Fiction, Biography, Political Science, Economics, Educational Resources, Juvenile Literature, Young Adult Fiction and Reference. Our hours of service are Monday, Thursday and Friday, 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. For more information please call 212-860-1626. 

Bountiful Blessings Banquet & Fellowship Hall 
This ministry caters special events held at the church, serves dinner to the congregation on Sundays when there is afternoon service and prepares continental breakfast every Sunday morning immediately following the 8:00 morning worship service. To serve in this ministry please call 646-215-6114. 

Greeters 
This ministry is an extension of the Usher Board. A greeter’s role is to welcome all visitors and members into the House of the Lord with a warm smile and hospitable spirit. Greeter’s serve on Sundays before both morning worship services. To become a greeter, please call 646-215-6134. 

Famility Ministries 
This ministry focuses on the married couples of the church and community, and is geared to address their needs ranging from the relationship of husbands and wives to the relationships that exist between parent and child. Engaged couples are also invited to attend monthly meetings. The Married Couples Ministry meets the 4th Friday of every month. 

Sons of Issachar
Men-N-Ministry is where men come to the place in their lives to become a voice for God. A component of this ministry is Brother-2-Brother, a time when men have Bible study, share testimonies, and words of encouragement. Brother-2-Brother meets weekly on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. For more information, please call 212-860-1519. 

Ministry Relations 
This support ministry of the assembly responsible for serving the guests of the Office of the Bishop and the general assembly, handling the Bethel’s relationship with the media and the public as well as ensuring a ministry standard of excellence is achieved in all presentations of the Assembly. Seniors With A Purpose (SWAP) 
This ministry has emerged as a means by which our church ministers to the needs of senior citizens both in our church and our community at large. Events include regular Thursday fellowships from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., and many other services. For more information, please call 646-215-6132. 

Usher Board 
An usher is a doorkeeper who desires to ensure that all things in the sanctuary are conducted in decency and in order. The Usher greets worshippers on sacred ground and reflects that obligation with a greeting that is warm, embracing, and in keeping with the Church’s motto. Worship and the Arts Ministry 
This branch of ministry is dedicated to using singing, interpretive dance and drama as its primary method of sharing the gospel and lifting up the name of Jesus Christ. If you desire to offer your gifts to the Lord in any of these ministries please call 646-215-6124. 



Social Services 

Beth-Hark Christian Care Center, Inc. 
This program provides referrals for individual counseling; group and family counseling; a resource referral network; training and seminars; job placement services for clients; and a food pantry and soup kitchen ministry which services approximately 1,500-2,000 families per year. Christ Community Action Initiative (CCAI) 
This ministry effectively advocates for those that have been disenfranchised and underserved by the various secular agencies. The CCAI resource team comes from various professions including educations, law, health care and mental health care providers. CCAI also offers resource and referral services to the community in the areas of employment. Please call 212-860-1520 to make an appointment. The CCAI office hours are Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. 

Soul Release Prison Ministry, Inc. (SPRM)
