Worship & Arts Ministry
The Worship & Arts Ministry is dedicated to the common mission of leading others toward self-actualizing spiritual development and worship experiences. The ministry is divided into various components. Although each group is encouraged to develop a distinctive style of its own, they are organized under one Pastor, a Ministry overseer, a Minister of Music, and Worship & Arts leadership team. A brief description of each group follows:
• Shining Light Junior Choir (Ages 4-12) and Words of Life Choir (Ages 13-28) – Children, teenagers and young adults who are effectively learning to minister the Word of God and express their commitment to God through song.
• Bethel Ensemble (Ages 20 and up) - Adults seeking to minister the word of God through the vehicle of traditional gospel music.
• Bethel Church Choir (Ages 18 and up) - The church’s main choir of adults 18 and up whose purpose is “to preach the gospel to the poor; to heal the brokenhearted; [and] to preach deliverance to the captives…” (Luke 4:18). The style is more contemporary but not exclusively.
• Praise Movement, Beauty for Ashes, and One Accord- A group of men, women, and children who minister the gospel through interpretive dance.
• Men-N-Ministry- Adult men who share the gospel at the home church as well in the prisons and various arenas.
• Worship Team- A group of both men and women, from teens to adults whose specific purpose is aiding the congregation in worship services.
• Real Life Theater- Anointed actors of all ages seeking to preach the gospel through drama.
