Rev. Gordon E. Williams hails from New York City. He
is the fifth born of nine children to James and Emma
Williams; he was educated through the New York City
Public School system. After High School Rev. Gordon
realized a life long dream and briefly signed with the
Chicago White Sox, and through that experience learned
some very valuable and important life lessons. He yielded
to his real passion, which was helping to change the
lives of trapped men and women.
In the spring of 1977 after completing four years of
Bible School in remote western Pennsylvania, he joined
Bethel Gospel Assemblys (BGA) full time staff.
Immediately the Lord made provision for him to spearhead
an intensive ongoing street ministry initiative in which
only eternity will reveal its true dividends.
Tabbed as BGAs Missionary Field Superintendent
he faithfully represented the local assembly in numerous
assignments. In 1980 Pastor Gordon was ordained an Elder.
He has served under the tutelage and leadership of Bishop
Ezra N. Williams in teaching Gods Word, the Music
Department and other service ministries.
On May 2, 1981, Pastor Gordon married the love of his
life, Nadia Hosein and they have since been graciously
blessed of the Lord with four children, three daughters
Nadia, Narissa, Nalicia and one son Joshua. Pastor Gordon
continuously emphasizes the importance of the family
and its priority in our society. He has a genuine heart
for worship and its place in world missions and
the ability to impact a nation.
Pastor Gordon presently functions in an ambassadorial
role, representing the local ministry of BGA, linking
and partnering with ministries who, like Bethel, have
a worldwide scope and heart for what the Lord desires
to do in this hour among the nations. He is actively
involved in honest biblical racial reconciliation, which
can ultimately and only be accomplished through the
instrument of a broken church modeling the real Jesus
to the world. Pastor Gordon has been instrumental in
fostering relationships in various ministries such as Urban
& Global Missions Alliance (UGMA) in South America, Christs
Center in Junction City, Oregon, Youth
With A Mission International (YWAM), the Pentecostal
Church of the former USSR, and a host of local churches
and pastors in the nation of Venezuela.
Rev. Gordon truly emulates the belief that the field
is the world and has a desire to see people,
young and old, from every background and station in
life come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus
Christ. Pastor Gordon is very concerned that the church
hears the heart of Jesus and model the essence of His
intercessory prayer when He said, Father I pray
that they be one even as we are one. He believes
with all of his heart that we must see the church biblically
reconciled before Christ returns for His spotless bride.
